I took a break from my run to shoot a quick clip of my friend in Bedrock Sandals. The scenery isn't bad either - Humboldt redwoods.

How to Adjust Fit

Nick and I made this short video today explaining how the buckle works in our Bedrock Sandals. The buckle enables quick adjustments to fit on the thong and ankle straps. We enjoy the simplicity and functionality of the design and are happy with its performance across wet and steep terrain.

Rafiki

Rafiki, a running sandal convert, joined me this week at an outdoor education fair in Southern Humboldt County. During breaks we explored the hills and found an abandoned camp lost in the Redwoods. The ancient design in our sandals summoned once forgotten paleo instincts. Rafiki squatted and threw the least cumbersome piece of wood he could find into the air. He didn't stop until he hit the ground panting. Rocks and logs were tossed, smiles had, and sandals worn.
